While the Idea of Ranking Professional atheletes and Drivers goes back to the inception of sport and can often be seen at the close of each year through various media outlets the basis for these is often left down to personal opinion or an unknown scoring system.
The Castrol Driver rankings(Castroldriverrankings.com) details 500 worldwide Motorsport events and rates each one based on the International standing of the event and the level of competition. This way only the Highest disciplines will achieve the biggest points towards the ranking system and meaning a realistic and fair distribution throughout all formulas.
