Jonathan Greer has unveiled the new Bott Group Sunstrip he wil run on the remaining rounds of the 2009 British Rally Championship, Jonny and Bott’s relationship stretches back as far as 2004 when he was campaigning a 1.0Litre Junior rallycross Mini in the British rallycross championship againt fellow BRC regulars Jason Prictchard and Adam gould.
Back then we were recieving support from the Northern Ireland Bott Agent and had always stayed in touch, through the agent at the start of 2008 we entered into talks with Bott UK about a possible sponsorship deal. By the time we had reached an agreement the economy was in downturn and things took a back seat” remarks jonny.
“But the deal stood strong and this is our way of saying thank you for the suport in 2008 and continued support in 2009” Continues jonny.
Three more rounds remain in this years British Rally Championship, the Isle of Man commencing in four weeks time(10th-11th July), Jonny’s home event the ulster (21st-22nd August)and the finale Trackrod rally yorkshire (26th September). After three strong results Jonny currently lies 4th in the Championship.
